What we found was free. I had heard that the great park hot air balloon ride was free and so we decided to give it a go before the park closed.

Woke up early again, it is still dark outside, and the air is cool and dry. I love the nights just before the sun raises. Running on empty like the normal pace of hurry and get things done, move on to the next project. Help needed for the house, in Palm Springs this time. Just because you have the sand, have lakes in La Quinta, and more man made lakes and ponds in the locations in the desert, any will do. Just need a place to take the horses to the water.
I prefer the beach, I prefer the sand and surf alone the shores of the beaches in Long Beach, and the beaches in Orange, and Los Angel es coast for the long runs with the horses and the ponies. The horses wild and free racing against time and space, is another one of the dreams that I like to have. Mustangs, and thoroughbreds are the horse that run fast. Love the horse and pony shows, that make the dicks swing in the wind, dancing clowns, frogs and fake friends, just for the songs and dances. Not true blue friends, that do not get caught up in time and space, and the noses on the cattle and the bison, whales and jackasses, at the water at the end of the day. Water for them all, water for the birds and water for the butterflies also, we all need the water at the end of a run or two.

It was awesome! I definitely recommend going at night and if you can, be the last ride up. From the distance you could see Disneyland fireworks display. You are high enough (400 feet) where the lights of Orange County are on display. If you have never been on a hot air balloon or want to conquer your fear of heights, this is the activity to do. festivals, fairs and events in over. People will complain that it is stationary, it may not go high enough or you are looking at "empty fields." Get over it. It's FREE! And going at night is awesome. I wouldn't recommend pushing it to be the last to go. My party lucked out because there was almost not enough space but some people dropped out at the last minute.
